BACKGROUND

GMR SUT Corporation Limited (GMRC) has been found in 2020 (Reg. No. 0-1955-63001-95-3) and registered as an engineering firm in 2023 (Certificate No. 0195563001953). It is spined off from Geomechanics Research Unit (GMR) of Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) to provide consulting services to civil and mining industry. This is primarily to allow GMR to concentrate on research activities and education.

GMRC is operated under the same GMR members who are registered professional engineers and geologists supported by consulting experts in various areas of rock and soil mechanics with advanced degrees in mining, geological and civil engineering. Strength of GMRC includes creativity, innovation development, design and analysis under both laboratory and in-situ environments.

GMRC uses state-of-the-art approaches to provide a broad scope of services ranging from design, numerical modeling, testing to research. By combining academic and industrial experience backed by advanced analytical and computing skills, GMRC aims to deliver the best engineering solutions under most cost-effective services to clients in mining and geotechnical developments.
